The first chapter
Our picnic happens when the weather feels right.
Our first community picnic will be intentionally small: 15 to 30 people, good music, relaxed conversations and enough space to truly get to know one another. The final date will only be confirmed when the forecast is suitable.

Founder story
The heart behind East Vibes Austria
An idea born from genuine inspiration.
“I want to bring the special feeling of my travels through Asia to Austria — for people who are curious, want to connect or may not be able to travel there themselves.”
East Vibes Austria was founded in Vienna by Daniela R.W. The idea grew from the lasting impressions of her travels through Asia: the culture, food, music and, above all, the warm encounters with people.
Through East Vibes Austria, she wants to make those experiences accessible to others — including people who cannot travel to Asia themselves. It is an open community where everyone is welcome, meaningful conversations can grow and shared experiences bring people together.

No. Music is part of it, but East Vibes Austria also connects food, travel, culture, fashion, languages and international encounters across Asia.
Do I need to know someone before I come?
Not at all. Our smaller formats and personal welcomes make it easy to arrive alone and connect naturally.
When will the first event take place?
The pilot is planned for Vienna. The date and registration will be announced once the location, team and full framework are confirmed.
What happens if the picnic weather is poor?
The Donaupark picnic is weather-dependent. We will confirm the final date after checking the forecast and reschedule if rain, storms or unsafe conditions are expected.
Can my brand become a partner?
Yes, when the audience, values and activation fit East Vibes Austria. We begin with a small number of carefully selected launch partners.
